It is my pleasure to welcome you to this great and historic institution. The institution is well known across the country and the world at large, for its dispiline, standard and quality teaching.

College of Nursing Science Sokoto appreciates students that are academically sound and morally good. Examination malpractice, stealing, violence and all sorts of vices are strictly forbidden. Any student found quilty of any of such offences will be withdrawn from the training.

the College is ever ready to provide all necessities to students and staff so as to ensure your stay is happy and memorable one. Students on your part, you should know that you are here for a purpose; that is to pursue and attain an academic qualification. POST BASIC NURSING ADMISSION FORM FOR 2019/2020 ACADEMIC SESSION

This is to inform the general public that the Academic Board of the College has approved the Sales of Post Basic Nursing Programme Admission forms as follows:

  • Sales of form ↣ 18/11/2019 To 30/12/2019
  • Selection Exercise ↣ 13th to 14th January, 2020
  • Release of Admission ↣ 17th JANUARY, 2020
  • Registration ↣ 20th JANUARY To 7th FEB., 2020
  • Orrientation/Review Classes ↣ 10th FEBRUARY, 2020

BASIC NURSING

The Nursing education programme is a six-semester programme (3 years) of study. The courses in the first year of the programme are designated in four digits (representing level, credit load, and semester for the last two digits respectively) with prefix of BGN (Basic General Nursing). The courses in the second and third years of study are designated as that of the first year with same prefix (BGN). Read more

REFRESHER PROGRAM

Refresher program is two-semester program (1year) which commences in April each year. the program is initiated by Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria for eliminated candidate after three un-successful attempts in Professional Examination for General Nurses. Read more
